We have a variety of copy editors available to read through articles, dissertations and papers to ensure that they are grammatically correct and ensure that they can be understood in the context they are intended to be read.

We work with universities and academics who are publishing papers in their second language, as well as with students who are submitting their dissertations or thesis.

Prices start from £35 per 1000 words.

FAQs

How much do you charge?

Our prices for academic proofreading start from £35 per 1,000 words, and can be up to £75 per 1,000 words depending on the paper, subject, and level of copyediting required.

Do you recommend academic copyediting to your students?

For our students who are undertaking academic qualifications in their second language, we can recommend that their coursework or essays are proofread by one of our staff members. We will provide purely grammatical and vocabulary feedback, and it will be proofread by someone in a different field to ensure it complies with rules.

How long does proofreading take?

We can ensure that any proofreading we undertake will be done by the deadline set by our client. Please note that for express proofreading assignments (ie, those with a deadline in under a week) there is a small added charge.

What subjects do you cover?

We cover all academic subjects and topics for our copyediting and proofreading service, for curriculums all over the world.

Is it against the rules to have my paper or dissertation proofread?

So long as we are aware that the piece of work solely requires proofreading, it shouldn’t go against any rules as we are not providing feedback on your work and research itself.

Do you provide proofreading for articles being submitted to journals?

We have worked with researchers and academics all over the world who are submitting articles to journals, in particular those for whom english isn’t their first language.
