  • Tayberry were recommended to us by a work colleague as my daughter was in need of some help with her maths. After our initial consultation with Jo, we were matched with a tutor called Josie. I was a bit apprehensive about it being online as my daughter is easily distracted but decided to give it a go. Josie was brilliant, and my daughter enjoyed, yes enjoyed, learning with her. She understood where my daughter struggled and why. She made sure she covered tricky questions and topics over and over until my daughter got it, and got it she did, she achieved 2 grades higher than in her mocks and we are extremely grateful for the amazing team we had working with us.

  • We used Tayberry tutors to prepare for 11 plus and ISEB exams. My child was very anxious about exams in general, so the team had to handle both: preparation for the exams and exam anxieties. I cannot thank them enough for the progress we have made. They were very patient, tailored lessons to tackle areas of difficulty, helped us with various techniques to tackle nerves.   • I just wanted to share some of our son's exciting news! He’s got a confirmed place at Claremont, which was one of our preferred schools so we are thrilled (as is he!) and he’s also got a waiting list offer for Halliford and also Reed’s. Reed’s is very unexpected as we know it’s hard to get a yes from there as they have around 600 applicants so this result is great. He hasn’t had a 'no' yet!   • Jo is very kind and knowledgeable, she helped us assess the academic level of our daughters and advised us on how to move forward and which schools would best suit them. We went with her advice and we are very happy with the outcome. The tutors were gentle, helpful and thorough. After each class, they'll provide a detailed message about the material they taught and the child's performance which is very helpful for parents.
