Mentoring our students to reach their potential

Mentorship Programmes

Our mentorship programmes enable your child to be mentored by some of the top students in the country in order to ensure your child’s personal wellbeing and build their life skills.

Our mentors all attend the top universities in the United Kingdom, including the University of Oxford and Durham University, and are well qualified in rigorously preparing our students for their applications to these top universities.

Furthermore, we. have a highly experienced educational psychologist within our team to aid our students with any personal concerns.

We also have educational consultants who help both students and families to access the best advice in terms of educational pathway planning and also personal development.

We also have the ability to refer our families and students to other consultants and experts in their field should we recommend those next steps, including speech training and psychotherapy.

  • University and school applications and preparation

  • Interview techniques for university and job applications

FAQs

What does a mentorship session look like?

A mentorship session is entirely unique to each of our students. They’re often around 30-60 minutes, and comprise of one of our highly trained tutors or consultants giving our students extra support with whatever they need help with.

Can you advise as to what our child needs mentor support with?

We will have a brief consultation with the child and yourselves to discuss which areas a little more help is needed in, and then we will match you with the best tutor or consultant in that area.

Is mentorship valuable?

We have mentored thousands of students, whether it’s with helping with university or school applications, or whether there are more complex issues in our student’s lives which they need some help with. Our mentorship has provided tremendous value to our students, and instilled in them a confidence to achieve what they want to achieve. In some cases, we believe that mentorship is more valuable than tuition.

Can parents sit in on mentorship sessions?

We strongly believe that for the benefit of our students, it’s best for them to speak with our mentors independently, where they can discuss a variety of things with us in a confidential manner. As with all of our services, we usually request that our student is completely in control of their sessions and all communication is with them in order to empower them about their personal wellbeing.

Can my child have mentorship even if they aren’t being tutored by you?

Our services are available individually, and we also provide packages for students as well, tailored to their needs, and your needs as a family unit.

Can you help my child with more complex matters?

Whilst we aim to provide mentorship to our students using ‘in-house’ tutors and consultants, with more complex cases, we may suggest referring your child to another professional, such as a psychotherapist or speech therapist. This will only be done in special circumstances where we feel your child will benefit from this kind of intervention.
